The virtual manager was designed by
experienced restaurant managers and the expertise of the Catalyst llc, design team.
Only after 2 years of design work and research with dozens of
different restaurant chains did the project take form. Another 18
months passed until the virtual manager was launched for beta testing
in early 2006. Testing was executed in 4 major restaurants for
over 6 months while programming team worked through all the issues and
adjustments while communicating directly with the store level users to
make it work perfectly.
In August of 2006 the managerlog was released for general use.
Companies large and small are finding the capabilities of the
virtual manager hugely useful and a significant improvement over the
hand written form of the communication log.
